How a job travels

From the file you send to the folder you receive.

Nothing here is a surprise to your decorator, and none of it is a chore for you. This is the path a Stitch-Out Set takes, with the clock beside each stop.

Day 0 · On receipt

Your artwork arrives as it is.

PDF, screenshot or sketch. We confirm the garment, placement and size by email, and ring only if something is missing.

Day 1 · Morning

We draw the stitch map.

Stitch type by shape, direction by light, underlay by fabric. Gradients and small type get their own decisions, noted on the sheet.

Day 1 · Afternoon

The swatch is sewn.

On your fabric where we have it, or the nearest we stock. Photographed beside a ruler, with a raking light to show the height.

Day 2–3

You look, we adjust.

Tell us what you see. Two rounds of changes are included in the Stitch-Out Set, each re-sewn where it matters.

Hand-off

The folder, and then the invoice.

Stitch files, vector art, thread chart, placement sheet and mockups, in one folder. One invoice follows, itemized by line.

03Fabric & placement guideWhat each garment asks for

Know your garment

The same logo, built differently for every fabric.

A cap, a polo and a fleece pull, pucker and swallow thread in their own ways. This is the rule sheet we digitize from, shared so you can see why one file never fits all.

05Asked before you askAbout the work and the bill

Considered in advance

What clients ask before they book.

Which file format will I receive?

Whichever your decorator’s machine reads: DST, PES, EXP or JEF. Tell us the machine or put us in touch with the decorator and we’ll confirm it directly.

Is the stitch-out proof sewn on my actual fabric?

Yes, when you send a swatch or a link to the blank. If not, we sew on the closest fabric we stock and say so on the photo.

When is the invoice sent?

After you approve the files. It lists each service and extra on its own line, payable by card, ACH or cheque.

What if my logo needs more than 8 colours or 4 inches?

Then it’s priced to the work. Send it over and we’ll quote the Stitch-Out Set or a package before you agree to anything.

Can you take a file from another digitizer and fix it?

Often, yes. Resizing an existing file is $18. If it needs a rebuild, we’ll tell you and quote the Single Mark instead.

Do you sell finished garments?

No. We make the files, proofs and artwork, and hand them to the decorator you choose.

When you’re ready

Bring the logo, the garment and the date. We’ll bring the thread.
